Anthropologie is one of my favorite retailers. Even if I don't always purchase something, I always find myself refreshed and inspired when I walk around the store. Maybe it's the amazingly scented candles that whisk me away...my favorite is Volcano. It's deliciously scented with tropical fruits, sugared oranges, lemons, and limes, redolent with lightly exotic mountain greens, and perfectly packaged. Or perhaps my refreshed and inspired feeling is due to the fact that each store is meticulously designed with custom installations created by visual artists. It's like you're walking into a custom-made home when you arrive. Even men won't mind going into Anthropologie as there always seem to be the most comfortable seats and couches available for them to sit.
