Spring scent

Everyone needs at least one signature scent to take them through the day! I love fragrances, but tend to be particular about the notes. Some combination of floral, fruity, and maybe citrusy too will do the trick!

I've found a few yummy fragrances that are perfect for the warmer time-of-year, or year-round if you're someone like me. Check them out at Sephora or Nordstrom - they'll even make you a sample to take home and test for a few days!

Chanel, Eau Tendre, ($68 - $115)

Notes: An unexpected mingling of grapefruit and quince meets the crispness of fresh green notes, while a trace of Jasmine Absolute lingers in the air. Gently warmed by a sheer veil of White Musk, at once, innocent and seductive.

Fun with Marc

I love pops of color for accessories! It's really fun to add these colorful additions to more classic clothing pieces. Marc Jacobs launched the perfectly sized smaller crossbody bag for the Spring and Summer season. The leather is incredibly soft and supple, and the purse fits just what you need for that woman on-the-go. I love how the strap is also adjustable, to be shortened or lengthened depending on your height. Of course my favorite colors are the diva pink and electric blue, but there are other classic colors for the simpler woman!

Minimize with Nike

I've been loving all of the bright and fun color combinations I've been seeing on various Nike running sneakers lately! If you haven't checked out Nike's minimalist running sneakers, you certainly should. These incredibly light and flexible sneakers are like running on air. I've never worn minimalist sneakers for a jog, but I'm excited to finally try them out.

Natural fragrance

Who doesn't love a little spritz of perfume or cologne before jetting out the door? It's always refreshing to add a bit of that signature scent that makes you feel clean and fresh! However, the issue with many fragrances purchased at the department store is that they just don't last.

Most purchased fragrances are either Eau de Toilette or Eau de Parfum. Eau de Toilette contains a small percentage of the actual fragrance, and the rest of the bottle is filled with an alcohol-based substance to disperse the scent. Eau de Parfum scents are similar, but do have a higher concentration of fragrance. Nantucket Natural Oils work a bit differently!

Classy Christy

Kate Spade makes some of the best classic and timeless fashion accessories! I love the simple designs and fun color options. Kate Spade recently released a few new items on her webpage today, and I'm drooling over her Christy handbag.

Do you love quilted leather, classic styles, and roomy evening bags? Christy is the winner! The design of the piece pays homage to the classic Chanel handbag, while also adding a very Kate Spade twist. It's a roomier piece than it seems, so you can fit all of your essentials including a small wallet, your phone, lip gloss, and even a small hair brush.

Pyrrha seals

Do you like personalized jewelry, or pendants full of meaning and symbolism? One of my favorite lines for symbolic jewelry pieces is Pyrrha (pronounced: peer-ah). Pyrrha pieces are designed from 18th and 19th Century wax seals into timeless pendants, earrings, bracelets, and rings. You can purchase your jewels in sterling silver, bronze, or 14kt gold. You can also choose the necklace length.

Each piece holds a very special meaning, so you can find the piece that best resonates with you. Some of the symbolic designs include anchors, foxes, hearts, wolves, phoenixes, wings, stars etc. I have a few favorites, but am recently drawn to the Hearts Talisman Pendant. The seal reads "Forever" and shows two hearts tied together with a ribbon to symbolize the uniting of two souls.

Flash lens

Ray Ban recently released their newest and coolest aviators. Meet the new flash lenses! These classic-style aviators have colorful mirrored lenses. They are red/orange, blue, and green. Both the external mirror and internal lens colors for each color are unique. The best part about these sunglasses is that their internal lenses are dark enough to block the sun, unlike other lighter-colored aviator lenses. My favorites are the blue and green mirrors, depending on what internal lens you like best.
